Great set up Russell. If my eyes are not cheating me it says 80 degrees you might want to keep it somewhere where the temp is lower than that.

Here is my set up. I have no basement so to get the coolest possible temp I set it on the floor where air is always colder.

Here is the Humi its a 300 count nothing fancy but effecient got it on Ebay for $60 delivered

Default newbie here, got a question for you

Does having different flavor cigars placed together in a smaller humidor change the flavor of other cigars in the same box? I just bought a small one today and i see it has a divider and i am sure it is not very effective in separating smells. How does putting a variety of cigars in the same box keep the taste and smell separated?

they will absorb a hint of the other flavors but its barley noticeable when your talking flavored/infused cigars.

i have noticed a slight spiced hint that comes from the ambrosia cigars transferring to the javas i had next to them but the java seams to not transfer to the ambrosia ones.

How do the sticks in the drawers work out? I have the same one that I got as a gift and I use the drawers for non cigar items but have been thinking about changing that. When I look at the drawers tho, they aren't sealed very well and was wondering how they hold up for you.

    Thanks.

    Poor man's refrigidor part 1:

This is a $58 B & D Thermoelectric refrigerator available at Wally World.

Two Peltier units - one high, one low...very cool. Seriously, I needed a JC manual thermostat to bring it above 55 degrees.

Had to remove the plastic projection on the door.

    Specs:

    Interior dimensions (useable space) 13.5"W X 11.5"D X 16.5"H
    Exterior " 17"W X 19"D X 20"H
