    Default La Aurora Maduro Robusto

    In one word, "impressed"
I have had the naturals before and liked those, but the Maduro (though not overly dark) was a notch up for sure. First off, the stogie look very nice, as i said a little lite in color for a maduro but still a great looking cigar. Small veins, and very symetrical. As with the naturals, the cap is not completely wraped around the end if the cigar, so a bullet cutter seems to work best. It fired up easily, and the burn was close to perfect.

Ton's of smoke, and a great aroma to boot. I always get a good 1/2" into a cigar before i start to judge, and from the start the tast was spicy and thick, and smoothed out conciderably to a pleasant rich coco flavor with hints of exotic wood. Medium in body, and boys and girls i think i found my new everyday smoke, and at a single price of $4.99 (local) it makes it that much more attractive. After this post ill be surfing the web for a box, probably in the Bristol lenght though, as i always buy robostos as a trial. I just purchased the El Mejor Espresso sampler special from CI and im hoping those will be just as good after a few month stint in the humi.

Great review! I will have to check that out. I have been dying to know how those El 'spreso's are, and been kicking around picking up the sampler as well.
An Investigator that can't find work, is probably not the one you want!
