I don't believe that CNB was trying to offend anyone at all. In fact, I have seen a noticable effort on his part to temper his posts and, most of all, in his restraint to post replies when he has been slammed lately. He has removed his sig and his avitar tag.

CNB - I believe you have been trying to show restraint and I appreciate it. When I said an apology was in order I wasn't implying that you did anything wrong intentionally, in fact a faux pas is just that, an unintentional social misstep.

Sid, I know you have history with CNB, but it seems he's trying to bury the hatchet, IMO. I don't know what your history is, but if it is because of his political beliefs, well, you know how I feel about that.

DW1 - You've been on the board less than 2 months and already you dislike CNB enough to publically slam him? I don't know if you have a history with CNB, but I'm not sure why you feel the need to stir the pot in this thread. You might dislike him for some reason, but by your own admission you aren't sure whether he did anything wrong here. Why are you jumping on this bandwagon without a reason? Just seems a bit odd to me.

Thanks for the support. I don't know woh DW1 is here but he appears to be jumping in on things without knowing fully what is going on, so my advice to him is to say less and read more before you post about things you don't know about.

Sid seems to have a permanent hatred for me, that is too bad, as I am willing to let things go and hopefully meet him at a herf someday as he appears to be very knowledgeable about cigars. But I will avoid any talk of politics

I really am trying to end the shit-stirring but I guess since there are still too many chefs out there, no matter what I do the cooking will continue.

Ok thanks. As you can see, I said nothing anti-semitic. I have respect for Jewish beliefs and the people who hold them. I have high regards for the Jewish religion and people of Jewish faith.
