    Default sorry...

Sorry if you are really getting into cigars the last thing you will want is a piss poor humi. And one that is plexi IS. What you would need to do at this point is replace the top with glass and make sure it has a decent seal that won't contamate the cigars. ie: none of that silicone crap like tub sealer. You are local if Ya' want contact me, PM sent.
The problem with people who have no vices is....
generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

Not only that - some of those cheap eBay humidors are made of pine instead of Spanish cedar.

Make yourself an Igloodor and save some moolah.

Coolidor will defiantly save you $ immediately and in the future. I'd say eat the $50, you get what you pay for. Buy a better humidor or if $ is low, but a cooler and make a coolidor. When you have $ then you would be able to decide if want to spend the $ on a humidor, plus you may get some ideas of what you really want in a humidor.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown
