GOP Condones Pedophiles Actions

The short list of things this Republican Congress accomplished will not help their side in the polls next month. Tax cuts for the wealthy, a highway bill, and 3 or 4 other things.
Hopefully, the voters will use their brains this year and make some changes. Unfortunately, even if the dems get control it woule be a very small majority and at this point in time I don't see much cooperation between the aisles. That translates into BAD for the public and frankly, I'm tired of it. Am I going to switch sides? No. Like I said, both parties are equally guilty of screwing the populace. The middle class and the poor get screwed a little less under the Dems so that's where I'm staying.

Off topic. This thread is called "GOP condones pedophile's actions" so we can talk about the the Republicans keeping control of Congress in another thread.

Just to get you thinking, here's the reality of this year's elections:

The Democrats will not take control of Congress this year so there's no use in fantasizing about that.

I'd like your opinions on State Representative Jefferson Davis, D-50th district (yes, the "D" stands for DEMOCRAT) who was arrested for molesting his 8 year old foster son in June of 2003. He refused to resign, Democratic party leadership said nothing, he stayed in office like nothing happened. This guy is a multi-millionaire who hired the best defense attorney money could buy, and when he was facing certain jail time, he plea bargained to a TEN YEAR prison sentence which they SUSPENDED so this guy never served one day in prison.
