Thread: New guy here

  1. Default New guy here

I was not sure which forum this should go in, so rag away if I already screwed up.

I just wanted say that I have only been smoking cigars for a short time and after going through some sites on the net, including this one, I have a lot to learn. Thanks for the info that these forums provide.

    additional info per request:

I am landlocked in the middle of Oklahoma and just recently got married. I also work in IT. I have a few hobbies including Radio Controlled airplanes, which my wife thinks is to expensive, that was until I started buy cigars.

Although I have had the oppurtunity to smoke a wide variety of cigars over the years, some better than others, my interest in them really peaked after spending an afternoon in a cigar shop in Florida while on vacation. The old guy in the shop suggested a few to try along with some suggestions. I have found a few that I like, and some I dont. So far a few that I like are the Montecristo Churchill, Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro, Pinar 3000 Capa Colorado Churchill (a box was a gift from a friend), and several others that I cannot remember at this time.

I will post more as I smoke more, read more and have more questions, again thanks for a great cigar community
