Default I'm so proud of my kids

OK, not my own kids (I don't have any). But I led a kids bluegrass band this weekend and we had a blast. I posted some photos and commentary on my blog

3 of the 5 kids had never played bluegrass just 2 months ago but they worked hard and practiced hard. We also did a 2 hour rehearsal every Sunday for the past 6 weeks.

Good job kids. I'm very proud of all of you.

    Let's see, cigar content . . . Hmmm

Well, if I had a cigar I'd smoke one to celebrate what a great job they did.

Yep, that's right. I have no cigars at the moment. But my new humidor and 15 cigar sampler should be arriving any day now. THEN I'll celibrate the great job they did.

Big Poppa. You have great taste in music.
Being a mandolin player I'm a BIG Chris Thile fan (Chris is the mandolin player for Nickle Creek). I've gone to The Mandolin Symposium the last 2 years ina row and I was able to study with Mike Marshall, David Grisman, and one class with Chris.

I like some bluegrass, especially "Fade to Bluegrass". Its a blugrass bands tribute to Metallica featuring Iron Horse.
