Awesome morning. What is the area you live in like? I'm considering relocating away from DC in the next few years and am looking toward Texas. Is land cheap there? Is the construction industry busy? Do you have lots of hills or lakes?

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown
I'm also an Astros fan but I have been rooting for St Louis. I have a lot of respect for their team.
Bad storms last night led to me not being able to sleep. So I waited till the rain slowed down (around 4AM), then our power went out. Fantastic. Took 3.5 hours to get our power back. So I sat out with the dogs on my covered patio, drinking coffee I picked up at the donut shop. Between 4-6:30, I had a Puros Indios Maxima Reserva Churchill, and an Ashton Heritage Churchill. Missed the sleep I normally get, but got to leisurely smoke some great cigars.
Good morning y'all
I slept in late becaue I tend to go to bed late because I work late.
It's 10:00 now and 59 degrees outside. The oaks on our property have been changing to yellow and dropping their leaves. It feels like autumn and it's just beautiful.
I don't teach today so I'm going to be in the shop to work on building a dulcimer and a guitar today.
BAH! This morning I got up early and had to drop the dog off at the Vet due to a hurt paw pad.
My typical morning is up about 40min before work, throw on clothes, scarf down breakfast, and drive to work to arrive about 1min before 9.
I am soooo not a morning person unless it's to go Bass Fish or catch the sunrise on the beach.
I think the last time I saw 6am was without going to bed from the night before.![]()
Seatbelts save lives, my best friend and I are alive because of them.
Nobody is ever gone as long as there is someone to remember them.
Depends on where ur going in texas......land is cheap some places and land is REALLY expensive in others! There is probably a lake within an hour of any place in Texas. Hill country it out west or towards the northern part of the state. I live inbetween Austin and Houston, and we have hills here.
