    Default N or M?

If you had a choice between a maduro and a natural cigar, which would you choose? And if you are trying a cigar for the first time, do you grab the maduro for the virgin experience or try the natural line?

I prefer Maduro, so if it's available that's what I go for.

Have to go with natural on this one.

    Candela

(I just HAD to be different.)

Candelas, gents, used to be the most popular wrapper in the U.S. -- and for good reason, they taste great!

Guess it is totally a personal preferance, huh? I guess I'm leaning more toward maduros but as of late, its been non-maduro's and I have not really been satisifed.

The one's I've tried, from Fuente I think, were pretty bland.

Any suggestions on a good one?

    An impossible question to answer.

Since there is no such thing as a maduro Cuban cigar (well, Cohiba just recently released some EL but they're almost impossible to get), if I want a Cuban cigar then I'm smoking a natural leaf wrapped cigar.

As far as non-Cuban cigars, I choose a cigar based on whether I like it or not, not because of a wrapper leaf category. Oliva "O" Bolds and Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 are dark natural and they taste better than lots of maduros.

I rarely smoke lower end non-Cuban cigars in the first place.

I would by instinct grab the natural first, then later on I'd try the maduro, as I tend to favor natural and Cameroon wrappers.
