Thanks Chefchris, I missed that thread. Unfortunately I seem to miss quite a bit of the new posts. When I log in, I hit "New Posts" and if I'm idle for more than 15 minutes, when I hit it again, they ones that I had not seen since my last post don't show up. I was interested in that thread but with my bad memory these days, I forgot all about it, sorry about that.
I like old metal too Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc.. I just saw Iron Maiden a couple of weeks ago. What was pretty cool was they played the WHOLE new album, all ten songs in order. I was kinda bummed because as with the Floggin Molly show, I hadn't listened to their new CD so I didn't enjoy th show as much as I could have. The freakin' tickets cost $55.00![]()

Well Flogging Molly is now on tour and I have tickets to see them in Sayreville, NJ on Friday, March 9th at the Starland Ballroom!![]()
I also found out that the Street Dogs are going to be one of the warm up band.![]()
The lead singer from the Street Dogs is Mike McColgan, former lead singer from the Dropkick Murphys.
I was also lucky enough to catch the Dropkick Murphys at UCONN last weekend. They did a show sponsored by the Studen Government for "Winter Weekend" so they didn't advertise the show. My son's daughter is a student there so she got us student tickets for $10.00. We had seats in the balcony instead of having to deal with the mosh pit.![]()
Big D and the Kids Table warmed up. I've seen them before and they're lots of fun too. They mostly played stuff from their soon to be released CD so I didn't know too many of their songs. They closed with LaX which is one of their more popular tunes.

If you like DM and FM check out The Tossers... same style of music.
I had Drunken Lullabies up on my Myspace page forever... such a good song. The first time I heard it I was at a local pool hall and actually stopped my game to go look to see what the name of the song was.
