Just Another Noob

Hello All,
I am new to the board and have been lurking around for a short while; trying to answer some cigar-related questons on my own before making my first post. I'm currently in college and have occupied my free time getting into the cigar world. However, I have been somewhat limited to the selection offered by the local tobacco shop. I recently began ordering sticks online in order to sample many different cigars (I currently have a box of Indian Tabac classic chiefs that I am very happy with).
Being a college student, I'm always looking to get a good deal on cigars. CI is offering 1876 Reserves at nearly $1 per sitck. I've had one before and remember it being mild, but pretty decent (quality construction, good draw, etc.). Any opinions on this brand? Also, has anyone tried the Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 Seconds that the online shops are offering these days?
