Welp...I survived the weekend! Went to a halloween party Saturday night after the Baylor v. ATM game. Surprise I could walk after 4 hours of drinking.....Anyways, I ran into a local shop there in Waco and picked me up a few sticks for the evening. Got me a CAO Gold, and a La Gloria Cubana Serie R - No. 6. Before the night began after the game I smoked the CAO. I dont know if I wasn't in the mood for a cigar or I just didnt like the cigar. I enjoyed smelling the smoke after I exhaled more than the taste it left in my mouth It was a nicely built cigar though. The burn was perfect, never got too hot until well....you see below The draw was perfect...I dont know what else to say. The thing "looked" great and functioned like a perfect cigar would, but the taste just wanst my thing. It turned more into a, lets see how long I can get this ash before it falls off. I took the band off and smoked it another good half an inch before the ash fell off. I was pretty impressed that I got an ash that long.(Yes I'm aware many of yal have done this on many occasions, but I havnt so fuck off ) At the party I smoked the No. 6 and it was just as good as the No. 4 I love so much but man that thing was a beast! I dont like smoking cigars of that ring gauage but it's all they had at the cigar shop, so I dealt with it. Anyways...hoped everyone had a great weekend!
