That may be, but if I compare the woodsy taste I tasted to the smell of the cedar in my humidor or the smell of aromatic cedar (or even of a pencil which is also made from cedar) I don't think that was what I was tasting. But then again, my palette has processed all of 4 cigars so far so who knows. Maybe it was.

Cedar seems to have a light smell to me and this was a very full set of flavors. But you know what, when wrapped up with all the tobacco, chocolate and spice flavors I was probably lucky that I could detect any wood flavor.

But boy, that was a nice cigar.
