Thompson and then offered to let him off the hook if he could get a peck on the cheek. Can't remember who played the sgt. in that movie, but he's a good actor. Nick Nolte?

I don't know...I'm not the biggest Johnny Depp fan in the world, but I think he did an excellent job as thompson....Great flick two thumbs up

Benicio Del Toro was great too....
