Hi All!
I just wanted to post this reminder to get out and vote!!! Every election is important and every vote counts! So don't forget. Republicans vote on Tuesday and Democrats vote on Wednesday.
I've already voted, but thanks for the reminder.
Here's hoping that not even a republican dog-catcher gets elected this year.![]()

I've already voted too. I wonder what candidates I voted for?![]()
What's even better is, I've also taken 12 elderly Democrats to the polls for early voting also.![]()
Excellent! I've heard that Democrats were all pitching in to get out the vote. I think that is a wonderful thing. I would imagine that they probably wouldn't have been able to get out on their own. No matter what your political affiliation I think the vote is the most important piece of our government. It's the only thing that gives the average person a say in how our government is run. I applaud you!
By the way, how many of the 12 were still breathing?
This time around it seems I will most likely be voting Dem for the NH positions in Washington and governor but most of the locals will still be republican. Of course, most local positions are uncontested.
There is a woman running against an incumbent, Sen. Bradley.
Not that Bradley has done a really bad job, he just hasn't done much. Very much a under-the-radar type guy. Not what we need now.
Carol Shea-Porter is a grass roots Dem, she knocked the established and DNC supported candidate off the ballot by working hard, actually taking a position and answering the questions.
Can she win, YES. Will she win... I don't know, NH is a fiercely independent state that leans republican.
But I'll vote for her. So far it seems she has done this all her self with little money so I don't think her vote is bought and paid for like most politicians.
It will be interesting to see how things turn out on Tuesday.
