    Default Best smoking experience yet

Nothing really super special about the cigar, a RP Edge, but the circumstances........my youngest daughter got her first phone privileges from Army boot camp last nite and I heard her voice for the first time since September 20th........Damn that made that cigar taste fan-f'n-tastic!!!!
All is well in life. She is currently at Fort Jackson, SC, and best of all.....she will be able to come home for Christmas!!! YEEHAW!!

Thanks! Maduro. It seems that I prefer the maduro wrappers above most others, and on most cigars, although the corojo is good too.

Good ole Ft. Jackson, SC.........Been there, done that. And yes the first time you get to use the phone after not talking to anyone you know for like 3 weeks is the greatest feeling ever! Just be glad she isnt there in the heart of their Winter like I was. There were days where it wouldnt get over 30 degrees during the peak day time hours, it was crazy. What BCT Batallion/Company is she in?

Yeah, I remember the first phone call I made when I was in Navy boot camp some 24 yrs ago, was quite the joy!! She is in 3160 Inf Rgmt-Bravo Co-3rd Platoon, at least that is how I address all the letters I send her.....don't know much about the Army structure, being a Navy guy.

She is going to be a signals intelligence analyst, at least that is the training they promised her. She will be going to a base in Texas for her AIT, which is cool cause its much closer to home than SC is! So maybe we'll have a few chances to see her while she is there.

BTW, she has mentioned BRM (?) a couple of times in her letters, but I didn't get a chance to ask her what it is.......does anyone know? I think it has something to do with weapons training, as she is talking about qualifying with her M-16 (scary by itself when I think of my baby firing a weapon like that)........geesh now I feel kinda old!!
