Sweat Drew, thanks. I guess all their experience of getting them into 'that other north American country' pays off at our border too.

And on that note, latest additions to the humidor are...

    Box of RyJ Churchills
    5 pack of JLP Brevas(sp?)

    i s o m's all.

Umm...I don't even know what to say. It's so many opportunities in one sentence. I'll let somebody else spike this perfect set.

Good to hear. Looks like you are sliding head-first down the slippery slope. Nice smokes

I split some April, 2003 H. Upmann Sir Winstons with a guy on CigarSnobs last week.

The week before that, I got boxes of the following:
Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas (2 boxes)
    Jose Piedra Cazadores (bundle)
    Saint Luis Rey PC (box)
    Quai d'Orsay Gran Coronas (box)
    TBSCigars - "On Holiday"

I love 'em but they really are better with some age on them. The problem is that since they're pretty popular, it's very hard to find them from vendors that have any age on them initially and it's almost impossible to get them in CABs which is what I prefer. I got a whole bunch of boxes in March of 2006 and the box codes were all JUL 05. This most recent box I got is SEP 05 and they're smoking pretty good BUT as I mentioned, the more age they have on them, the better they are.

SLR Serie A are VERY NICE too. CABs of those are pretty easy to find. I prefer CABs as opposed to dress boxes because cigars from CABs are nice and ROUND instead of box pressed.

SLRs are probably my favorite overall Cuban cigar except I don't like the Regios.

A trick I learned a LONG time ago is to NOT smoke one brand specifically otherwise I get sick of them so I mix up my Cuban cigars.

For instance, I smoked a RASCC on the way home from work in the car and right now, I'm smoking one of the Jose Piedra Cazadores. Yesterday, I smoked one of the QdO GCs.

Tomorrow it looks like an SLR day!

Last month I picked up a box of Partagas 160's. I haven't decided if I'm smokin 'em or saving 'em.
