I just smoked a perfecto garcia I got from JR's halloween trick bag and it had bloom on it. This was the first cigar with bloom I have had and it was extremely mellow and suprisingly good considering I have heard Perfecto Garcias can be extremely spicy.
Whats your opinions on bloom?

Indifferent. Bloom forms at different rates on different sticks. It is kind of cool looking, but other than that I really don't care whether my stick has it or not.Originally Posted by jiaguy

It is a sign the cigar has been stored properly during the aging. It does not add any flavor to the smoke. Beats the crap outa seenig mold though.

Something I don't see too often since I have no patience with aging cigars, I smoke 'em too quickly!! I'm also indifferent on bloom, it doesn't change the taste of the cigar at all but it is a sign of an aged cigar which is good.
