googled your own screen name? I was reading through the gary106334 thread and saw shelby07's comment about what you could find on google.......so out of curiosity, I googled ashauler......my profile came up, complete with all details including my address and real name (so I removed it since that scared the shit out of me) and some posts from this forum, those were the first results, but right under that was this :

I am a Nascar fan, just like I put in my profile but am not on any other forums, don't sell or buy from e-bay, etc......I guess this guy has been scamming people selling racing stuff or something, but a veritable shitload of other stuff came up on ashauler.

Definitely not me......I guess people should search on google BEFORE they choose a screen name to keep from choosing one that already has been used and may have some negative stuff associated with it on another forum or something. Never having participated on bulletin boards or forums before, I guess I was just plain naive about this. What a bitch!!

Now I don't know what to do.....is there anyway to change your screen name or something.......how does one combat this?

Always a good idea. And that's also why I'm careful what I post under my screen name. Anyone at work could google it.

sleep with a loaded 12 gauge on the floor next to your bed. that's what i do, no joke. first shell is a slug, for aiming, but after that i got buckshot, in case i miss the first time.

to me, it's worth the risk of a surpise bomb from a BOTL. guess that means i would actually kill somebody over it.

No, and they won't fit thru the trigger guard either.
