Well, it is normally in poor form to make your first post attempting to get free cigars. Although, as a Canadian I would like to thank you for your service.

I see it as a neat idea, but your first post is not an appropriate time to ask or suggest it. A lot of us are already involved in sending cigars to the troops overseas.

Sorry if I came off over eager or greedy. I am not only a novice at cigars, I am also a novice at negotiating this site or a forum in general. This is my first. I would like to open this up for discussion or suggestions. I am sure that while I am overseas, my job will allow for ample time to check this site or to read and answer emails. Thank you again for your input and suggestion.

I might be interested if I were sending a cigar to an APO (or whatever the military uses for oversea addresses) address. However, if this is to be mailed to Tuscon, or Tallahasee, or Topeka or some such bullshit...I don't think so.
Also, if you're 18, how many extended absences from your family have you been on to do your ritual smoke?
One more thing, if you're 18, and you're heading to Iraq, how do you plan on retiring when you return? I'm not trying to bust your balls, but how long do you think you'll be over there, and how long is your enlistment?
