The pillows only last for a couple of months.

Most times it's best to let the cigars sit in the humi to stabilize. Many people will tell you this. Personally if you're DYING to try one, go ahead.

Other internet sellers store their cigars very wet and smoking a cigar that is too moist will result in burn problems.

My boxes from Serious were drier than ones I've received from CI, Famous & JRCigars and smoked fine the day I opened them.

Waiting will definitely help and if you smoke one now, the worst that can happen are some burn problems.
