I get away with it next to the fireplace. Have to have a fire going though, to pull it out and mask the smell a little. Works pretty good. I had a big fat 5 Vegas the other night, and the wife came home and was none the wiser.![]()

I have a hepafilter which works wonders. It's almost impossible to get rid of ALL the smell but a good hepafilter and spraying Febreeze in the room when you're done smoking will pretty much do the best you can do.
sprangalang's fireplace idea also works pretty well too.

With concerns about second hand smoke and odours in the carpet, the best way would be to have a room dedicated to smoking with a hefty air venting fan to the outside. I smoked inside once last winter because of the cold... the stale smell was around for several days... now I smoke in the "Cigar Loft" I have set up in the Garage![]()
Maybe use (or build) a smoking shed or something?

Maybe just try lighting incense for smoking inside, I hear alot of people do that. Though that wouldn't be odorless.
I did see in a movie once that they used a vacuum to suck up the smoke.
Maybe you could just open up a window and blow the smoke out there.
