I have to say Bill I actually dig yours a bit more than Combs. I like the pale wood look better. Both excellent bars though.

Thanks Nate! I had a blast making that bar top. I found some old oak flooring in a guys barn and cut the tounge and grooves off, glued two 12" slabs together bowling alley style (with the oak boards having their edge showing up) and as I mentioned, ran them through a planer then poured that two-part epoxy finish over the bar. You may have seen bars in the past where they put some kind of coins or currency or photographs on the top then pour this thick stuff over them so they become part of the bar top. The finish is pretty thick, maybe even as much as 1/8 of an inch.

It has 6 bottles of vodka in the top (rectangles on the top in the first pic) Velvet lined shadow boxes that the bottles sit in then inlayed glass inserted into the top. Lighting under to make them glow in the dark. Sorry Pics are a bit big

Hey CC, is that a Pachinko(sp?) machine built into your wall?

YEP, you got it!! I'm pretty sure you spelled it correctly too!

My father bought that for my brother and I for Christmas back in the 1970s. We used to use it quite a bit back then and of course, it then just sat around not getting used. When I finished the basement back in the late 1980s and early 90s, I built it into the wall.
