Starcraft will never get old. I used to play AOE2 nonstop during college, but since AOE3 came out, could never go back to AOE2.
Chris, get AOE3 and I'll play with ya. It's definitely an improvement from AOE2.

Ya, I wasted so much time on this game back in high school. I downloaded AOE2 yesterday out of boredom. I tried getting AOE3, but the downloads didn't look to stable. I use U Torrent. I looked at Best Buy and that sucker was $50. No, sir.
I might just have to try again on some different sites, or wait till the price goes WAY down.
Once I obtain this, you will come to realize I am a force to be reckoned with.

Definitely be careful of WoW. A couple of my poker buddies signed up for that, and they were never seen again.......except maybe once a month.
One friend of mine took 1 week worth of vacation to play the game. THAT'S INSANE!

Dunno if the hack will work online though. They assign one User Name for every key that comes with the game. You might not be able to play online. Once you've downloaded, try to get in the server to play against people. If it works, let's rock! I could use some free cigarsLOL!

AOE2 I've been playing since college, but stopped dead cold on all PC games (except Starcraft) after college. I don't have AOE2 anymore since I got my new PC (I had the hack version). So when AOE3 came out, decided to try it out. TOTALLY different from AOE2. You really would have to get used to it, because units, terrain, shortcut keys, and strategy have changed with this one.
I only enjoy playing games if I actually play it with people I know, hence I still play Starcraft cuz I still have college friends that enjoy going online and playing it.
It's definitely worth the $50. If you really like AOE2, you'll enjoy AOE3.
