I believe the 2006's were the Avo 80
I'm not big on doing reviews, tobacco doesn't taste like "cocoa" or "nutty" or "mocha" to me, it tastes like freakin' TOBACCO. I know what I like and I really don't care what other people think of other cigars. I've never read a review and said to myself "Wow, that sounds like a cigar I'd like to try!"

Yes - that was the '06 Avo - celebrating Avo's 80th b-day. And those are really coming around since their release. I think they were rushed to sale and not fully aged - but they're definitely on the money now! I was told there are a few boxes still left floating around, but they are quickly being eaten up...

BTW - I saw Avo at Corona Cigar Company a few weeks back. He's saying they are definitely going to release the LE05 and Avo 22 blends in the not too distant future. Corona has been selling versions of them, and thankfully they're not far in flavor from the originals at all!!

BTW - if you get a chance to try the "Lounge" blend, you must (it has a baby blue colored band). I picked them up by suggestion of a fellow BOTL and was amazed... My understanding is they're only sold at three locations worldwide, Corona being the only US location. They're a tad bit pricey ($16) but a wonderfully spicey (not killer, but nice spice) smoke!

George, glad to read you made it down to florida for that vacation finally. Hope you and the family enjoyed it. I don't know when I'll be back in Chicago, but we'll definitely have to hang out, unless of course you're coming out for the quad-state herf. You can get round trip for 120 bucks at this time.

Right the 80's. Love those. I've been thinking of grabbing a box. The stores around here have them still.

I'll look for the corona's. Sound tasty.

Wasn't vacation, Sean - was work... But it was nice I traded 17 degree weather for 75 for a few days!!!

Sorry I missed you when you were last in. I know you were crazy busy with the family stuff... Was talking to the missus about maybe doing the quad state herf - but she's got her foot firmly planted on the purse strings at the moment...

Where'd you see $120? I saw about $160 through JetBlue...
