I grew up in the navy and moved about 30 time so i feel your pain lol
Just curious if they are tearing down the house why the inspection? Hope you find your dog.
Later that nite after I posted my bud called and after I told him my dog ran away he went and checked the old house. Sitting on the porch was our mutt. She's home now. Tomorrow we'll have the final inspection and hopefully after that's done I can finally concentrate on this house. We got our internet up this afternoon.
Glad to be back online. However, right now, watching the SB!
ahh, the military. 'Right son, you are moving out to have your house torn down, but we are still going to do a white glove inspection. see you at Oh-dark-hundred hours' I dont miss that one bit. Good to hear your pooch turned up safe and sound.

Same thing happened to us in Camp Pendleton three summers ago. My unit was getting ready to go to Iraq, and were staying in some barracks that were getting completely renovated. However, when we moved out, of course the rooms had to be spotless for the first sergeant, even though everything was getting torn out of them the next day. Definitely don't miss that stuff. The Marine Corps is not for the thinking man.
