Unfortunately, my shop doesn't stock Torano. I handed out a few to some of the guys that were there yesterday, and they all seemed happy... One of the guys told me he was dying to get his hands on another one, having been gifted one a while back, and thanked me profusely.

I guess I gotta talk the store owner into carrying them!

BTW - I do like Montecristo's. I just wasn't in the mood at the time... They are a fuller bodied cigar.

LOl, WOW this is the EXACT Torano that I keep in stock regularly.

Just smoked one this morning. At $66.00 for a box of 24, these are one of the best deals out there.

Default A big Torano fan here too...but

trying to find his cigars locally is another story.

My favorite Torano is the Exodus Silver "Grand Churchill". Two Guys in NH carries Torano but is currently out of the Silver line and can't say exactly when they'll get more.

Can anyone recommend a good mail order supply?

They're out of stock. The last two boxes I bought of these from Serious were $66.85.

    Did the price go up?

The 1959 is $66.85 but the Silver line is a bit more. Those are the ones I was quoting a prices for. The 1959 might end up being my first box purchase.

I am going to my local cigar store this afternoon, I beleive I will pickup at least 2 of these and give them a try.
My brother bought one last time I was there with him and he enjoyed it.

I was quoting the price and vendor for MMAB because he was asking about the silver line. Besides, I AM the original poster, so I give myself permission to stray slightly from the topic posted

My bad for not quoting MMAB originally when I posted the price for the silver line.

Oops.... I posted my reply based on the silver line - that's what I thought you posted the review on...

The silver line is VERY nice... Now to find one of the gold line cigars to compare...

I smoked my first Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Toro today. I had read many good things from people posting here and decided to get a 5-Pack. I was not disappointed; it was delicious!

When I first lit it up, I was impressed with how quickly, evenly and easily it lit. The initial flavor was terrific approaching a full strong taste, but somehow not overpowering. That's really the strength I like - right in the middle of Medium and Full. After about half an inch, the flavor chilled out nicely and had a spicey, light cedary taste moving almost below Medium but still tasty. The draw was very easy and the smoke volume was ample. At about the halfway point, I hit this area that tasted very much like the initial light-up...fairly strong. After about another half-inch, this fairly strong cedar taste came alive. I enjoyed this change very much. The remainder of the smoke carried this final cedar, light spice flavor to the end of the nub I smoked it down to.

I will definitely get a box of these tasty treats.

I apologize if my review addendum is clumsy or unwelcome, but I just couldn't help but share my comments on this great cigar.

Thanks for the review!!! It is always nice to see how others view particular cigars.
