    Default Introduction

Hey guys. I registered a couple months back, but I'm finally get around to posting. I really enjoy the site, but I've read alot of drama so I'll do my best to keep out of all that jazz.

I'm an 18 year old college student with no money and few cigars. If it weren't for y'all I'd probably be smoking "Macanoodles" right now and using a 25 cent butane lighter to smoke my flavored cigars.

I'll admit, I still don't have much taste. Like I said I'm poor so to fullfill my budget I've latched on to the Drew Estates line. I've also enjoyed the Rocky Patel Old World Reserves on occasion, but I've noticed y'all aren't big fans of those for the $12 price tag they carry.

Try and be easy on me. I'll do my best to add something possitive to the forum. I know y'all have already helped me out seasoning my new 50 count humidor my girlfriend just got for me, and also that humidor/8 count cigar pack for $15 from CigarsInternational.

    hey welcome from CT

i am very surprised that there are a lot of young cigar smokers, 18-24. when i first started smoking i felt like i was doing something that i needed to wait to do until i was in my 70's. sorry but cigars just cry out "old man smokes". so what can i say, i guess i am an old man! (i am 23)

Welcome from CT X2. La Vieja Habana is a good line.

    Heya Mark,

Welcome to the boards from The Great White North. Good idea staying out of the Drama where possible, looks like yuo learned a lot lurking.

I've had a few of the Old World Reserves myself, I really enjoyed the first one, the second one not so much. Not sure why that is, might have been food or drink at the time. Still, don't worry too much about "taste". If you like it then screw what everyone else thinks.... unless its a Macanoodle of course

    Welcome to the board.
Despite what many say about Drew Estates, the LVHs are one of my favorites. For price and taste, they are pretty damn good, IMHO.

thanks guys. And I think I'm gonna try and see if I can't find a box of some of those DE La Vieja Habanas. They were only like $40 a box last time I checked.

I really want to add some $10+ sticks in my collection just because collecting cigars is just as much fun to me as smoking them
