Some people like to use the thin cedar to light the cigar. Move of a novelty then anything.

Last week I had an A Fuente Chateau Fuente which comes wrapped in cedar. This smoke had the aroma of spanish cedar throughout. It was really really nice but havent come across this with other cedar wrapped smokes Ive tried. Dont know if it was just a fluke.
