Tell me about JR Alts

What do you guys think of these? I'm thinking of investing in some, going for cooler status here. I prefer the fuller body type, so thinking about edge alts, gurkha #3 alts, etc.
Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I've never had one, and have heard both good & bad about 'em.

I think Kev likes the Edge Alts, he says they're Med at best, but that's like mainlining Ligerio to most people.

I've had several. Some guy saw me sitting at Starbucks smoking cigars several times over the course of several weeks. He kept telling me that I should try JR Alts as that's all he smokes. He gave me one, which I accepted. Lit it up and threw it down after a few puffs, it was that awful. He gave me two more sticks eventually, and I had the same experience as the first one.

They're flat , tasteless cigars.

I have not had an ALT that was any good. The JR ULTS are OK, though.

I agree with that, the JR Ultimates are fair to decent.

I've suffered through 3 JR Alts. Not good. Never tried an Ult but have heard some positvive things. I have one. It looks cool.

I know most of you dudes smoke top end all the time. I gots lots of top end stuff but I smoke way too many cigars to afford to smoke top end 24/7 I will say that the Alt EL in Monte C size are pretty decent golf smokes. The edge alts are made by Nestor ,same dude who makes the Edge.Perdomo alts are made by Perdomo. Some alts are plain fucking nasty as hell not worthy of incubating beetles

If you smoke top shelf these will not be good for you . Sprang if you want a couple of Edge torp alts and Monte EL"C" LMK in a PM
