Tell me about JR Alts

I've had several. Some guy saw me sitting at Starbucks smoking cigars several times over the course of several weeks. He kept telling me that I should try JR Alts as that's all he smokes. He gave me one, which I accepted. Lit it up and threw it down after a few puffs, it was that awful. He gave me two more sticks eventually, and I had the same experience as the first one.

They're flat , tasteless cigars.

I have not had an ALT that was any good. The JR ULTS are OK, though.

I agree with that, the JR Ultimates are fair to decent.

I've suffered through 3 JR Alts. Not good. Never tried an Ult but have heard some positvive things. I have one. It looks cool.

Chris, Ults are basically Punch,Hoyo,and El Ray de Mundo. Same factory and tobacco

I know most of you dudes smoke top end all the time. I gots lots of top end stuff but I smoke way too many cigars to afford to smoke top end 24/7 I will say that the Alt EL in Monte C size are pretty decent golf smokes. The edge alts are made by Nestor ,same dude who makes the Edge.Perdomo alts are made by Perdomo. Some alts are plain fucking nasty as hell not worthy of incubating beetles

If you smoke top shelf these will not be good for you . Sprang if you want a couple of Edge torp alts and Monte EL"C" LMK in a PM

Yep, I know what you're getting at Kevin, if I smoked as many cigars a day as you do, I wouldn't be smoking seven $20.00 cigars a day, that's for damn sure. That's more $$ per day than your average herion or crack addict.

There are LOTS of great $1.00 - $3.00 cigars out there but I just can't fuggen stand the JR Alts. You're 100% correct about that factory in Honduras that makes the Alts and there are MANY other cigars that come out of that same factory (like Connies) that are essentially the same price at the Alts but are much better.
