    Default Carlos Torano Viruoso Encore

    Ring: 52
    Length: 4.75"

    Binder: Honduras
    Filler: Honduras, Nic., Panama
If I'm not mistaken, I believe this was the first Sun-Grown wrapper that Torano made.

I've had this in my possesion for approx. 2 (two) months.
Bought them in a sampler but the going rate seems to be around $4.00

Construction: Extremely firm with no soft spots
    Wrapper: Dark, Oily, and veiny

This thing lit right up and didn't quit. I'm a slow smoker, I like to sip. In between puffs this thing would just sit in the tray and produce smoke the whole time. I love it. I love lots of smoke, let's me know that I am a man and I am smoking a cigar.

Now, I would label this thing on the full side of medium. Some of you more seasoned vets call this thing medium. Pretty stout to me, though. Burns the notrils. Definately stonger than the other CT smokes I've had - Exodus 1959 Silver ( ) and the 1916. Them 1916's are dang tasty. anyways ...

In the beginning I got alot of spice from this cigar. After every puff it would cling to the back of my tongue as if it didn't want to be forgotten. This disappears halfway through and blossoms into a more mellowed smoke which was just fine by me.

Good even burn all the way downtown and no need for relighting or touching up. Did not try to go out one time. The ash was white which looked sweet right next to that dark wrapper. Held for 2", which looks pretty impressive on this 4.75" sized stick. The draw was perfect. I mean perfect.

This baby lasted me about an hour until I nubbed it. I intend to purhase more of these and let em sit. This was my first and I have 1 more (of this size) left. Sorry for the long review, I have been anticipating a cigar all day and was excited.

Newbs: If you're looking for something a little stronger than you're use to but don't wanna risk smoking something you might not enjoy or can handle, i would suggest this one. Gotta warn you though, I got a little light-headed towards the end. Oh, and watch out for the smoke, it got me square in the eye one time.

Nice review Chris. Folks who like Toranos might also like Casa Torano. Regarding the shift to the lighter body, I noticed the same thing.

Good review Chris. I like the Virtuoso. I would say it was on the "very" full side of medium as well. For a medium strength smoke I also like the Casa Torano and will probably be getting a box of those shortly.

Good review Chris. I've have the Casa Torano and I love it. I'm still up in the air about the Exodus Gold, I've tried it twice and have one left before I give up on it. I'm excited to try the Signatures which Torano gave out a while back,
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

I love the CT Virtuoso, I smoke at least one per week. Spicy, robust flavor, burns well, smokes great, can't beat it for the price.

I love the Casa Toranos too, but they're quite a bit milder, more of a delicate flavor.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

Sometimes I smoke these and they're one of my favorite Torano cigars. The flavor, draw, and burn are all really great.

They are quite tasty sticks IMHO, I was fortunate enough to be gifted one by a rep before they were released. UI usually have some on hand

As a cerified Torano Whore I also like the Virtuoso. I have a twenty count Torano humidor with nothing but Virtuoso in it. Nice review Chef.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it "Virtuoso" and not Viruoso as Chris seems to have spealt it? I do not want to smoke a virus cigar?
