I love KK doughnuts, especially fresh at one of the local stores, they just melt in your mouth when they are still hot.
Me and my friends also used to get about 5-10 boxes for a dollar when my friend worked at a gas station that was at the end of the KK delivery route, they would rather sell the old ones, than throw them out.

Do you say "Me also used to get...." or "I also used to get" if you excluded your friends from the thought?

I've heard these things are supposedly good when they are warm but it's awfully hard to imagine that these bricks could ever "melt in your mouth."

I'm not an English major either. Nice of you not to get all pissy. Honestly, I'm just trying to help, my mom the career educator taught me that trick (do you say "me went" or "I went") because for years, I'd screw that one up regularly so I figured I'd just pass it along.

Fresh and hot from the drive through is the only way to go. They will melt in your mouth. The dried up crap you see in the gas stations sucks balls.

I suppose but like nhcigarfan, they leave a big, oily sugar lump in my stomach which doesn't sit too well with me.
