    Default Strange Smoke

When I go to the b&m I always get my favorite plus a couple cigars I haven't tried. Well one of the smokes I picked up was a Trinidad. From reading your posts I hear descriptions on the taste experiances you have had and have tasted some of these flavors descibed but in a very mild way. Today how ever after lighting the Trinidad I immediatley got the taste as if someone opened a pepper shaker in my mouth and the taste of wood like when you are in a sauna. About half way it either mellowed or I ot used to it. I know you are probably laughing by now but is this normal for this cigar or was it just me? Three hours later and I still can believe how intense it was.

    Heya Thumper,

I haven't had a Trinidad myself but what you describe isn't so unusual. If it was a strong stick you might get more intense flavours. Also it can depend on what you were drinking or eating earlier. The peppery taste is usually present in stronger cigars with more nicotine. Overall my guess is that it was a stronger cigar than you usually smoke.

God call Thumper,Trinidads are very peppery. Not a morning cigar by any means. These are best enjoyed after a heavy dinner such as steak ect ect
The older I get ,the better I was
