We got in at noon and got settled to our place by 3. That evening, I had a Cohiba Red Dot Churchill that my sister gave me for a surprise birthday last year. Great taste, but was tighter then a Scrooge McDuck at a Dollar Store. Real tasty though, might have to get another one of these.

    Day 2:
Casa Torano Robusto with coffee for breakfast while watching the sun rise.
CAO Soprano, robusto size, possibly the best cigar of the trip!
Gurkha Triple X, was good, thanks Newfie.

    Day 3:
LFD Coronado, the big one, rg was 60 I think. It was great tasting, but was too big to really enjoy. I had this on the beach and the breeze was fucking up the burn something awful.
Opus X Corona, good, quite spicy though. I don’t know what it was, but this didn't live up to expectations.
Gurkha Ancient Warrior, A size. I don’t know who gave this to me, but a big thanks to them. This was wicked long, and lasted for ever. Competing for "Best Cigar of the Trip"

    Day 4:
Gran Havana Siglo, total let down. Terrible burn issues, otherwise had potential.
Avo 80th, spicy, will let my other one age a bit more.(side bar, Avo is really letting me down. The only Avo I have yet to like has been the Domaine)

    Day 5:
Anejo 49 from prophetic_joe. Damn you Nate, this was an excellent cigar and now I'm gong to bust my balls until I get a box on Anejo's. Thank you getting me addicted.
Davidoff Anny #3, another let down. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything close to what my last Anny #3 was like in flavor, construction or draw. For $17 a stick, wont buy again.
Gurkha Legend Perfecto, another let down. I don't know if it was the heat/temp, or what. But my disappointment was exactly the same as with the Davidoff.

I like the write up. The Ancient warrior you had sounds like the one that comes with a foot label, maroon I think. Definitely a few things I want to try that you listed.

I mainly agree with the Gurkha perfecto, that one was a MAJOR let down for me also.

Yep thats the one, the one with the bottom band. I'm glad/sorry to hear that I wasn't the only one let down by the Gurkha. Man if I paid MSRP for that guy and was let down the way I was, I'd be fucking pissed! Those things are like $20 I think. CBid baby!
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown

Mine was gifted. I am sure if I had paid MSRP for it I would have liked it...or at least forced myself too! haha
