I too was sent a package from SAG so here is my first review.
A few of you know I have been not smoking for a few weeks. I got the LAST of my dental work done and the doc said no smoking for awhile. Last night I broke the drought with a little bullet shaped cedar wrapped Fonseca. I'm guessing it's about 4x46 in size. I tried to find the exact name for it with no luck. Maybe Sid can help with that.
This little smoke has some seriously oily wrappers and a toothy texture. It was pretty dark colored and had a large noticeable vien running the length. It was well made with a clean foot and a head that came to a sharp point.
I observed no noticable flaw in the clip. The pre-light draw was easy with no decernable flavor in it. The cigar felt firm with no noticable soft spots.
It lit easily and I immediately had lots of smoke in my mouth. The smoke tasted of light spice with a floral finish. This continued the length of the smoke...Becomming more pronunced toward the end. This was not a powerfull smoke...Lower side of medium to medium in strength.
The grey ash held almost the entire length of the cigar. The burn was straight and did not need fixing.
This cigar is not as complex as I like but it is worthy of smoking. It is a good smoke to simply relax with without being challenged.
I give it 8 out of ten points.![]()
