Yeah, that was my experience in a nutshell. The maduro 18 has more character. For anyone looking to sample the 18 line, I'd urge them to try that one first.

I enjoy these in the morning with a strong cup of black coffee. They are indeed mild, but I think they go well with the java.

I actually like them quite a bit. All in the timing IMO. I like them on an empty stomach or when I am on the course. Not too powerful to mess with my game and I can only describe them in one word. Creamy.

That's why they make blondes, brunettes and redheads! We all like something different.

I went to a Cusano event in Kansas City awhile back and had both the 18 double maduro and the Connecticut, I found them both to be really good cigars. I actually had the exact opposite react as what was said by Shelby, the ciagsr made my mouth water as I smoked them and were extremely mooth. Draw and burn were perfect on these as well as the contruction.

Default too mild for my taste

I found the double connecticut to be much too mild for my tastes. Even bland to be honest. It had a great floral aroma before lighting up and I was really excited to try this one. but after smoking 2 of them, I don't think I'll be buying another. I've read mixed reviews on this cigar, although the majority seem to like it. Just my $0.02 worth.
