Thread: Humidor help needed

  1. Default Humidor help needed

I have had a humidor for a few years now. It is small only holds around 100 cigars. I bought it from Platinum Humidors. I have the original green sponge in it now.

My problem is I let it go to shite. It has about 10 cigars mostly Cubans that people have gotten me from around the world.

I need to know what I should do to get the humidor back up and running and what can I do to save these cigars?

Should I buy a new Humidifying device or try and use this one?

Just reseason it with Heartfelt beads.

Thanks for the response I was also told this by someone at another forum and I spoke with Dave tonight, and ordered my beads.

How about the cigars, been sitting for roughly two yeras. Can they be saved?

Make sure you bring those ISOMs back around very slowly, or they will be as good as a 7-11 cigar!!

The island scarface was born in, cigars produced from that island.

After a couple years of neglect the cigars will be marginal at best if you manage to re-hydrate them without cracking them up.

Yeah the search here is awesome. It is so good, I put in the term Humidor and it said sorry no results and then I tried the term cutter and got the same message.....this FAQ search feature is the cats ass!

The search feature in the FAQ section DOES NOT work. I put in super rare terms like Humidor and Cutter and it came back as no search results found.
