humidity headache

Humidity is drving me crazy!!

My humidor keeps dippign into the high 50's. I jsut bought a gel jar to add to the one foam element, one pillow and one gel stick i have in there. Hopefully this solves the problem. Its got roughly 70-80 sticks in it.

What kind of Hygrometer are you using? When was the last time you calibrated it?

I have a digital from madelines and a analog that came with the thing both are readign about the same, that and the foam element keeps drying out leads me to conclude that the humidity is low.

is the wood in your humi dryed out? maybe reseason it?
