Default No cigar for two weeks...

That is almost how long it's been..argh..

Well That is where I stand. I will break that today. Fire academy has been exhausting me and well...a cigar really isn't gonna help give me the edge I need to move ahead of the pack when we are running for a long while.

So I have no PT right now for 6 days. I am gonna herf it up tonight or tomorrow night and make it count.

Any suggestions for what you guys like when you have been deprived for a while? Anything you notice that seems to be GREAT when you are CRAVING a stick?

Mainly I am just rambling. I am bored and this is where I am happy right now! hahaa

Go for your FAVORITE stick. I hadn't smoked for 2+ weeks because of freakishly cold weather, but this past weekend I smoked 3+ cigars because of 60+ degree weather. I went for a Gurkha Class Regent and a RP Vintage 1990 Toro, both are my top 2 smokes. Smoke what you enjoy best.

Funky - I think you and I must be kindred spirits. Also a deprived cold-weather guy here who busted out my favorites for the weekend. And two of my top-five favorites are the RP 1990 and the Guhrka Regent. Cue the scary music.

You should give the Puros Indios Maxima Reserva and the Gispert Maduro a try - those are two more of my top-5 (and we seem to have similar taste!)

    Sorry for the thread hijack!

Just have a good one... or two... or three... or...

How many cigars do you usually smoke in a week? Do you really notice a difference in your performance when you quit smoking for a while? Just curious.

I wonder the same thing. I've been smoking at least 1 a day. Smoked three yesterday. Freakin' awesome sticks, too. But I have noticed how spot on my palet has been lately, it's weird. I love it! Already thinking about what I'm gonna smoke tonight.

Usually I was around 2/3 a week. I can't say that I know of any difference becuase I have always stopped my cigar puffing a week or two before any major physical activities. Not necessarily that the smoke affects me but the nicotine I've read can inhibit cardio benifits of excersize.

It could just be me being stupid...lol

I'd smoke something medium bodied after not smoking for awhile...Something mild simply is not worth smoking and something strong might overwelm you.

    Maybe a Torano Exodus 1959...
