I am so, so, so disappointed in y'all. You all seem to be being very careful not to step on each other's guesses. Do I have to explain the cutthroat strategy of this contest???

First, nobody's guess is sacred. If you post a guess and someone after you posts the same guess you are effectively out of the running until you guess again. You don't get back in if that person changes their guess to something else, so you need to watch the thread to make sure you are not knocked out. I will post one or two more updates as I can before the entry window closes, but in the end it's up to you to play the game and keep track of your competition.

On the other hand, if you want to knock someone out all you have to do is make a guess to get rid of them then post another guess with your original number. If I were playing the game I'd be trying to knock out those around me. I would hope to see a frenzy of activity tomorrow night before the entry deadline.

Remember, you need to be the closest without going over, so if you are guessing high you should have some strategy in mind to get my number of posts up to your guess right around my anniversary date.

So c'mon guys -- let's see some knock down - drag out competition here. I've tried to make the contest more active than passive, I've tried to make the prize worth your time, and I will be adding some other very nice sticks to the final package. This is supposed to be a fun, active competition, not a walk in the park!
