I got this cigar from a package SAG sent me awhile back...I rested it for about a month as it came a little dry.
It has a Honduran wrapper, Dominican and Nicuraguran filler, and a Dominican binder.
The cigar is well made with a clean foot and cap with no noticable flaws in the roll. It cut cleanly and fired up with no problem. The burn was fairly straight and did not need touching up. The ash was firm. It produced large volumes of smoke with each draw.
This cigar has a bit more ligero than you would expect from Fonseca. Seems like they are turning it up a notch from their regular line. It tasted of wood and spice. Sometimes some pepper came through. It was was on the high side of medium in strength.
This is a nice cigar. I did like the little Fonseca Cedar Mini Beli Maduro better. I give this cigar 8 out 10 points.
