DAMN YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My GF is seriously considering our relationship after I told her what I'm expecting in the mail. DOH!

Anyways, reason for the coolidor is, I'm getting a few more boxes from a country south of where I am, and let's just say I'm not in Canada!

    My questions are:

    1. Is it better to put beads in those bags or is it better to just put it in a bowl?
    2. Is 1lbs enough for a 100qt cooler?
    3. Do I really need a small fan to circulate the humidity in a 100 qt cooler?
    4. Can I place 5 packs in the cooler, or only cigars in boxes? (dunno if plastic smell will affect 5 packs, since they don't have the protection of the spanish cedar boxes)
    5. What is the meaning of life?
    6. If a tree falls and no one is there, would it make a sound?

    Thanks.

    I'll play too.
    1. I keep mine in the bag Viper sells on his site. Never have had a problem.
    2. I think I have 1/2 for my 75 qt and it works fine. 1 lb should be great for your cooler
    3. I keep two digital credo hygrometers in my coolidor, one on the floor, one at the top resting on some boxes. The hygrometer at the top usually reads a lower rh than the one at the bottom. I'm about to buy a fan soon to see if it can fix that.
    4. 65-70rh is good for the cigars. Actually you may want to crack open your boxes so they can get more air circulation.
    5. it has something to do with God. you can ponder the rest

i have a question to add to this myself... i just set up my coolidor and i was wondering if its safe to store flavored cigars in the coolidor with everything else if they are in their own closed box... i know they'll screw things up in a humi, but is that enough seperation that my other sticks wont be effected? my girlfriend insists on buying large quantities of flavored cigars but until i build her a small humi, she has to keep em' in ziplock bags and wants to throw them in my coolidor... also, if you got a cigar box that had a good seal on it... could you just throw some beads in there and use it like a makeshift humi? or would it not hold a rh?

Get her a tupperdore and some beads all her own. I would keep them separated.
