Here is the current status as of 9AM this morning, I have stripped out the entries are under the current post count (I am at 1102 with this post,) so if you don't see your entry there, vote again (and again, and again). I will try to post one more updated list some time this evening before the entry window closes, then I will post the final status tomorrow, Remember, everyone has until midnight tonight to post your final guess.

Well, I guess I misread this board. I really had no problem answering Bill publicly , but, you know, Hex had asked us all to keep it civil. He had also told me that he would take care of things if they got out of hand.

There was only 1 person on this board I couldn't get along with, and I tried to ignore the jabs. Admittedly, I jabbed here and there, but I gotta say it was pretty frustrating being poked at and feeling like I couldn't or shouldn't respond because of a request that was made by the operator of the board. As for sending PM's, I remember reading a few months back that Bill didn't do PM's.

So, for my part in this fiasco I apologize. I apologize to Bill, Kevin, you and everybody else who was brought into this because of my actions - and yes, I will admit that I got my butt all hurt and was very frustrated.

As for the contest, it is running. I'd like to finish it and give the sticks away, but if people here feel that there's too much water under the bridge then I understand. The community has spoken loud and clear and I can live with that. I will leave with my tail between my legs when this is done and consider it a learning experience. As for those in the birthday club thread, if you don't feel you want to send me sticks, that's fine. Send them to the troops instead.

Bill, as for where I'm going, I think I'm just gonna stay away from the boards for a while.

...and just for the record, I made absolutely no attempt to get people over here just to vote. This was a matter for the active members to resolve, and they did so.

I guess it begs to question - while you see the way the community voted, do you understand the dynamics?

Further - through the process - do you see why it went the way that it did? I mean - after all - you were defending sid in this process. Doesn't it strike you as odd the things that were done in the vote? nullmuff? brewsheister? C'mon - do you think that is pure chance those two showed up for a vote that was only 24 hours long? Especially when bigbirdie was caught over at a board he normally does not frequent, in nullmuff's user profile a short time before nullmuff voted here?

Shelby - I'd really like to think you were an unwitting victim of your own observations. I'd like to believe you are a stand up guy and now see the situation for what it truly was. Not what you THOUGHT it was. Don't feel bad - there were a few others that were sucked into the vortex...

You make the choice. You chose to say the things you did - stand up like a man and take responsibility for them. If you're right - defend it. If you're wrong - apologize for it.

No matter what - the statement you made that you "consider it a learning experience" is probably the most insightful glimpse into who you are. I sincerely hope you're serious...

Hey Shelby I don't read every post 3 times and memorize it just to pick people apart. If I didn't like you I guarentee you would have no problem realizing it as I only thrash on asshats. Stick around and don't get butthurt over words.
