Default File conversions for MP3 players

    Hey all,

I'm looking for an MP3 player and have been hinting to my family about the Sandisk Sansa e260 4GB. One issue I have is that it does not play .aa files (audible.com audiobooks). I've found programs that convert .aa and other unreadable files to .wma without cracking the DRM (I think that's the right terminology). Anyone have experience with these types of programs? Are they worth it?

    Thanks, folks,

    TampaSupremo

I bought the Sansa E260 about 2 months ago and I thought it did play the audio books...but now you have me wondering... I'll do more checking on it and get back with you asap.

Well, sorry but I didnt find much, what they state is "various software pkgs are available to sync songs and such into the device..see software instructions" but one of the "modes" to d/loading music files are a simple drag & drop from windows media player into the sansa. The sansa manual is a PDF file that should be available online, if not let me know & maybe I can send it to you.
