Last night I smoked my 1st RP 1992 & was very impressed ! I enjoyed this cigar so much, I'll say this is the best smoke I've ever had so far !! I've actually been hooked on Sancho Panzas for the past few weeks but after tasteting this baby my $$ may be going to Rocky ! Is it me or does RP Make wonderful cigars ?? Tonight, I had to try another RP and smoked a RP 1990 that has been resting in my humi for 3 weeks (same as the 1992) it gave me the same feeling !!!, although I did like the 92 better...funny thing is the other day I tried a Indian Tabac and thought That was an awesome smoke too ! I'm new to smoking cigars but, I love the testing !!

I'm loving trying new cigars, especially when you find ones you really enjoy like you did. Although I'm finding that trying a new cigar every time you smoke one makes it hard to decide what box to buy... although it is definately not a bad thing.

I agree on that...like I said in my original statement I did the Sancho Panzas since I started smoking(and still love them for everyday smokes) so I bought a box of them. Now , I'm thinking about doing the same with these RP baby's..I really like filling up a humidor...but rarely get that far..lol I do know its worth letting them sit in there for a week or more to get that softness I like to feel before I pull one to smoke !

I'm loving the variety available today (vs. when I previously switched to the pipe several years ago) also. And, I'm loving MOST of what Rocky Patel is putting out. The 1990 vintage has been one of my favorites so far. Just FYI, Lil Brown has the 1990 Vintage Churchills on sale right now for $39.95 (for a box of 10). I ordered a couple the other night.

Sounds like a great deal !! I wonder why they are calling them "Indian Tabac" Vintage 1990 by Rocky Patel ?? Also wonder why they are on Clearance ? These are what I call Top Dollar cigars ! Did you get yours shipped yet ? Let me know please, Dub's

Mine just arrived. I don't know why they call them Indian Tabac (except for the obvious RP Indian Tabac connection) on their website, but I have noticed similar things when ordering from them before (they call the Esoterica Tobacciana pipe tobaccos "Butera" tobaccos). Also, they do these killer "clearance" deals on various things every once in a while. Maybe they're on clearance because nobody finds them since they are listed under Indian Tabac

? I have ordered lots of pipe tobacco from them in the past, with never an issue. Anyway, like I said, mine just showed up...everything looks to be in good order. The 10-count boxes of Churchill tubos, still in the factory cello.

I have yet to come across a RP that I do like. They just leave a nasty taste in my mouth through out the whole smoke

That's why there's so many manufacturers today

. If we all liked the same sticks, we'd only need one maker...

I'm kind of in the same boat as COMB2, except I've really liked the Indian Trabacs that I've smoked, especially the Maduros. But any of the other RPs I've smoked just don't taste good to me.
