I was wondering if putting cigars in a glass tube would be beneficial, not that I thought it would end his problem. I have always had a curiosity about class tubed cigars and the reason behind people not recycling those tubes. I felt it could be answered within this thread without creating a new thread and I suppose I did get my answer. Thank you so much for your response and caring enough to add your concerns about it's proper placement.![]()

"Do this...go to Google and type in "Dumbass that can't take a hint"...notice the picture of a big feller in his Moms kitchen with a can of Wannabe RockStar on his man boob...Hey, that's you!" TheGreekTitan
May God grant us the wisdom to discover right, the will to
choose it, and the strength
to make it endure
now if you could find some efficient way to seal the tubes, cinda, you could probably use them as a substitute to a plastic bag...
and i wasn't making that comment to question placement, just to say i didn't think it would solve Al's problem as you had suggested it might.![]()

I had no idea homedepot sold wine cellars/coolers, Rev. I'm going to see if I can pick one up suitable for cigars, assuming wine coolers are also capable of keeping humidity constant. But any "self cooling" products should be good at isolating external elements.
A good book, a cigar, and a nice tall glass of STFU.
hmm... i was just thinking you could get one big enough to put your desktop humi inside... but yeah, check out those specs, see what the warmest temp they'll keep is and if they'll hold an rh without drying it... either way i'd ask the Home depot guys a million questions before buying one... but let me know if it works out that way, might be something to look into.
