It amazes me how people can be. Every time I join a board, it seems a short time down the road a selection of jack-asses (I'm not pointing fingers at anyone since I don't know the history behind this crap) develops a nice, hostile relationship and it sours the board.

Now, if I talk to person "B", person "A" will not like me and vice-versa. Heaven forbid I speak to person "C" or the whole board will want me strung alive!

I have a solution, I'll just put everybody on ignore.

I wish you guys would take this elsewhere. It's not fair to everybody else.

Also, do the moderators actually "moderate" here? Why doesn't somebody delete this whole damned thread?

I'd actually respond that the MAJORITY of the members of this board have chosen NOT to respond. The have either chosen to NOT repond, or they have not visited since the poll was initially posted (a couple of days ago).

Maybe you can start rounding up your posse to come and vote on behalf of "your cause"...

Just because there are some names on the poll that are associated with CP and CS, doesn't mean that they are over here to back up CC. There are those that really find you truly distasteful, despite what CC and you may have going...

Well, since you asked... Moderators are doing there job... Let the conversation go. It's not really crossed the line of civility, yet.

You've felt compelled to respond three times, and posted on the fourth - which leads me to believe you have at least SOME passing interest in the conversation. That being said, you could choose to ignore this thread - but apparently you did not... The thread title was pretty alluring, so I could see the need to read (kinda like trying to pass on reading Globe at the supermarket checkout stand, or gawking at a bad accident scene - you just can't help yourself.) But - YOU choose to read the thread. Don't be upset with what you read, then. It's kinda like you driving by a bad accident scene, going out of your way to look at the dead, mangled bodies - then complain to others that you have nightmares now because you saw bad things.

This is not a bad board because a few are having a disagreement. I don't see this board going "sour", as you say. What is your definition of sour? Is it sour because there are a few disagreements going on? Big deal! It'll pass and life will go on. I don't see where person "A" is not going to talk to person "B", because they like person "C". While LabMonkey, Roham, etc have differing views from mine, I can conduct civil discussions with them without it becoming a flame fest. Maybe some day we'll have a herf and enjoy cigars together - and shout insults across the room at one another. If you talk to SFG, my feelings won't be hurt - I won't stop talking to you, I promise (well, maybe, then again, you probably would wish I would). And I'd spend time sharing a smoke with SFG, if he'd just realize his faux pas and deal with it.

I hate to belabor the point, but there will be disagreement from time to time. Things will work out in the end - I promise. You haven't been here that long, and only posted a coupla dozen time. Just stick around for a while and let it go. It'll be okay...
