Holy Sweet Mother Of Easter!!!! What the hell did I miss the past few days?? Browsing some of the "HATE" threads (for lack of a better word) maybe I'm glad I missed it.

THIS thread and the links contained within are the exact reason why I don't spend a whole lot of time here any more, and usually when I do read / post something, it's cigar related, which is (IMHO) the exact reason Miguel created the board in the first place. It's also the same reason most of us joined the board, and ALSO, the God Damned reason many Moderated Boards ban Political debates. Looking what goes on here, maybe that isn't such a bad idea.

You know guys (and gals That's you Cin, couldn't leave out the board's Smoke Free Sweetie Pie!! ), politics and related hatred on this board has caused issues similar to the bullshit that's been going on in Ireland for decades & centuries. It get's to the point where nobody ever remembers what they're fighting about any more!!!!

Does anyone here really want to see anyone leave?? If you take the bullshit political feelings out of it, no!! We're all Brothers Of The Leaf hare, but we seem to forget that when it comes down to all your God Damned asswipe bullshit trolling arguements over fuck all.

Do I agree with everyone here on all viewpoints?? No!! Will I ever?? No. Not about cigars, politics, or hockey or any thing else. But that's one of the interesting things about life, we're all different.

Do I like all the jokes and trolling that goes on here?? No, much of it is funny to someone or another, but we don't all have to like it. It's like Porn on TV. If you don't like it, change the friggin' channel. If you don't like the subject of a thread, "THEN IGNORE THE THREAD, WHY START BULLSHIT".

Sid - Same goes for you. I enjoyed the time we met & HERFed in Buffalo with Dan, and would surely hope to do it again sometime. Do I like or agree with all the stuff you post?? No, and I think some of it is provoking someone else, but I stay out of it.

George and Sarge make a bunch of points on several posts that are chock full of wisdom. Might be great if some others read & heeded 'em.

Everyone mentioned above is, and can be, a great BOTL. Most of you have probably given away more cigars that I will see in my life. That's one of the things that makes you all "Brothers Of The Leaf". It's Politics and utter bullshit that's ripping the very heart out of this, Hex's beloved project.

I agree with everything except moderators and people allowing themselves to be run off by the bullshit. We need to stand together as BOTL's and as Hex created. Moderate the members of the board. If we choose not to come around then the BSers win. If we choose to moderate, everyone wins. Smokers draw one. Me, I'm going to go smoke a COHIBA ROBUSTO from ISOM.
