The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done." -unknown
That's why I love smoking cigars, they don't affect your ability to perform physically. If they did, I wouldn't touch them at all. I live a very active lifestyle, and if I couldn't surf two four hour sessions a day, I'd be a very depressed individual.
Great job on the run CJ! Keep at it, and be sure to remember to minimize the "bounce factor". I use to run with horrible form and it really did a job on my knees. To the point where I had to stop for extended periods of time due to the pain.
Ideally, you want to run with little vertical movement, placing the least amount of strain on your knees. It takes more work than bouncing around, but it'll keep you in one piece.

Yeah, I am lucky if I can get 2 or 3 miles without dying, and I'm 18. I have to admire the runners out there.
Is it sad that my 50 year old dad can run 10 miles on a good day, and I one day hope to reach 5?
Nice work.
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
